We would like to thank everyone who participated in the Language Buddy National Info Day – 29 of April 2026 – organized together with our partners, Transilvania University of Brașov and the Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences, within the framework of the European Language Buddy project (#AMIF).

We were delighted by the presence and enthusiasm of the Romanian mentors and the mentee children from Ukraine, India, and Sri Lanka.

This project marks the beginning of the Language Buddy community in Brașov, an educational programme for migrant and refugee children implemented across 8 European countries.

The Language Buddy Programme, co-financed by the European Union through the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF), promotes intercultural dialogue, social inclusion, and Romanian language learning among young migrants aged 12 to 17, through support provided by student mentors.
