The Migrant Integration Centre in Brașov was legally founded in 2012, as part of The Romanian Association for Promoting Quality and Successful Practices (ARPCPS).

The Migrant Integration Center in Brasov created under our NGO, offers integration services for the migrants and refugees in Brasov and advocates for their fundamental rights to start rebuilding their lives.

Services and Activities
Information and Counselling
Our Center provides free information and counseling sessions for refugees and other migrants from NON-EU, EU and SEE countries.

Romanian Language Courses
Our center has been organizing Romanian language courses since 2011. Overtime, approximately 400 foreigners have participated in a Romanian language course organized by our Center.
Help For Ukraine
The integration program that we offer contains a complex set of integration measures (information and counselling, Romanian language courses, cultural accommodation to counselling for acquiring the Romanian citizenship).
Other Events
All the activities within the Migrant Integration Center Brasov aim to familiarize the migrants with Romanian traditions and culture, but at the same time to familiarize the Romanian community with the cultural diversity of the city.

Volunteering & Internships
Our centre offers opportunities for volunteering, practical placement, and internship experience.
Over time, the Centre has hosted groups of students who completed the compulsory practical placement for their university studies with us. The students interviewed foreigners living in Brașov who are members of our centre and their interviews were published in specialized magazines such as “Migrant in Romania” (Archive can be found here: https://issuu.com/puiu).
Therefore, we are proud of our collaboration with the Faculty of Sociology and Communication and the Faculty of Letters – American Studies section, within University of Transilvania Brașov.
Our centre has also hosted several volunteers, both foreign and Romanian, who were involved in informational and counselling activities, organizing events, writing articles for specialized magazines and teaching Romanian language courses to migrants.
