CAFEplus – Transforming Informal Language Cafés into Validated Upskilling Pathways
About the project
The rise of informal learning communities highlights a critical gap: millions of low-skilled adults in Europe attend Language Cafés voluntarily, yet these trusted spaces remain disconnected from formal upskilling pathways, micro-credentials, and employment services. Meanwhile, the green and digital transitions are accelerating demand for future-oriented competences that adult education systems are not yet equipped to deliver at community level. CAFÉ+ addresses this structural gap by transforming existing Language Cafés into validated upskilling gateways, without creating new institutions. This will be achieved by building the methodological, pedagogical, and policy capacities of facilitators, organisations, and adult learners across six EU Member States.

D-LINK: Digital Learning, Inclusion, Networks and Knowledge for Migrants
About the project
D-LINK project is a European project that promotes the digital inclusion and employability of migrants through personalized learning pathways. Participants develop essential digital and job-oriented skills, including e-commerce, digital marketing, data management, and the use of cloud-based tools. The programme combines online learning with hands-on workshops, mentoring, and collaboration with employers, chambers of commerce, and employment agencies to facilitate labour market integration. Through the Digital Integration Labs, participants apply their newly acquired skills to real-life business scenarios and connect directly with potential employers. By adopting this approach, D-LINK aims to bridge the digital divide, promote social inclusion, and equip migrants with the digital skills they need to adapt and succeed in an ever-evolving labour market.

HELLO AI: AI Tools that Support Digital Skills and Self-Reliance
About the project
HelloAI addresses the critical challenge of closing the digital skills gap among migrants in Europe, a group that faces multiple barriers to digital inclusion, including language, literacy, and limited access to digital tools. While the EU aims to ensure 80% of Europeans have basic digital skills by 2030, migrants remain disproportionately excluded from essential services due to a lack of digital and AI competencies. This project offers an inclusive solution by providing personalized, AI-powered learning pathways that are multilingual, culturally sensitive, and accessible even in low-bandwidth and offline environments. The HelloAI platform empowers migrants to acquire key digital skills aligned with the EU’s DigComp framework.

Citizenship Academy: Building Democratic Participation Among Migrant Communities
About the project
Across the EU, migrants remain underrepresented in democratic processes, often excluded from decision-making and civic life. The Citizenship Academy project addresses this democratic gap by empowering migrants as active EU citizens and strengthening participatory democracy from the local to the European level. The project brings together partners in Spain, Italy, France, and Romania to deliver action-based training and civic campaigns focused on EU rights, responsibilities, and political engagement. Migrants will co-create citizen-led initiatives that respond to key EU debates and local challenges such as housing, integration policies, and equal treatment.
